The Devil's Children

Mortal be the Devil’s children.
More evil than he they may be.
And while mortal,
The seeds of evil which they sew
Last lifetimes.

Tonight, I become inhuman.
Basking in the abhorrent glow of
Vice and sin, I will dawn the mask
Of my inner beast.
The masses will fear me.

I will cause a cold silence
Wherever my feet may fall.
Raining down from the heavens
The snow of my hate will
Hide the blood-stained earth.

An earth of sin… of violence…
And I, disguised as one of them,
Will stop the true evil
Which permeates the air so
Sickeningly, like acrid smoke.
